Jonna Palmer

Director of Marketing

With over 30 years of experience, Jonna Palmer is accountable for conceiving and executing marketing strategies and tactics that help our organization create awareness and drive engagement. Prior to joining NMOHCFL, she managed marketing for three brands under the TIGHITCO name in the aerospace manufacturing space.

Her background includes leading the account strategist team at No Joke Marketing, a digital marketing agency focusing on brands in childcare, financial services, specialty foods and CBD. Palmer previously worked for original equipment manufacturers, including Trane Air Conditioning, in growing market share and developing digital strategies.

She managed the Marketing & Events team at the Charleston Metro Chamber, executing close to 100 events a year. Palmer later focused on developing marketing programs for entrepreneurs while leading the marketing team at Advantage Media Group/ForbesBooks.

Palmer is an avid supporter of local non-profit organizations including the Charleston Animal Society, Charleston Leaders and Palmetto Military Support Group. She holds a B.A. in Communications from Louisiana State University and the IOM designation from the Institute for Organization Management, a program of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation. As a Louisiana native, Palmer is a rabid LSU and Saints football fan and animal lover who counts herself fortunate to be living near the beaches of Charleston.
