As a visionary with deep experience in business strategy, civic service and educational leadership, Carreras is set to guide the Center for Leadership’s mission: to cultivate leaders grounded in courage, character and civic virtue.

Carreras brings over two decades of experience spanning the private, nonprofit and government sectors. Most recently, he served as president and CEO of Graduate School USA, leading efforts to modernize education and deliver impactful results.

But Carreras’s leadership isn’t just defined by boardrooms and strategic plans — it’s forged from the front lines. A decade-long career as a firefighter shaped his commitment to courage, integrity and service. These values are now at the heart of his approach to guiding the Center for Leadership forward.
