Bryant Springer is an experienced Program Director/Manager and proven leader in the national security services sector. He attended Georgia State University where he earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration with a major in computer information systems. Springer then U.S. army Infantry Basic Officer Leader Course and U.S. Army Ranger School at Fort Benning, Georgia before beginning his Army service at Fort Campbell, Kentucky in 1997. Three years later, he completed the Infantry Captain’s Career Course as it was previously known but is currently the Maneuver Captains Career Course. Springer went on to serve as an Infantry Officer in the 2nd Brigade 1st Armored Division in Baumholder, Germany where he was deployed to Kosovo and Iraq.
In 2003, Springer attended U.S. Army School of Information Technology at the Cyber Center of Excellence in Fort Gordon, Georgia before becoming Program Manager at U.S. Army Test and Evaluation Command, Deputy Chief of Staff for Information Management Office. Springer then served as the Chief of the Automated Information Systems Division at NATO Communications & Information Systems Agency Sector Izmir in Turkey. Following a year in that role, he served in multiple capacities as the military advisor to the civilian Director of the Command, Control, Communications Directorate of the Joint Information Operations Warfare Command in San Antonio, Texas.
Springer went on to serve as the Chief Information Security Officer and Information Assurance Program Manager for the 93rd Signal Brigade in Fort Eustis, Virginia. Following a two year post as Chief of Intelligence Systems and Cybersecurity Program Manager for the Defense Intelligence Agency’s Intelligence Component at the United States Africa Command Headquarters in Stuttgart, Germany, Springer became the Director of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency’s Enterprise Service Center and Chief of the Enterprise Operations Division where he was responsible for overall service delivery of agency IT resources to worldwide customers.
In March of 2016, he became the Director of Army Strategic Programs in the information and Cyber Sciences Directorate at the Georgia Tech Research Institute. Springer served in that role over three years before joining Alion Science and Technology of Vienna, Virginia where he served as the program manager of a $100M contract which included multiple multi-million-dollar projects supporting a government agency.
In his current role as Professional Experience Program Manager for Microsoft Corporation, Springer leads several multi-million-dollar projects supporting the U.S. Department of Defense.
He is married to Matice Wright-Springer, well-renowned Naval Academy graduate and first African-American female flight officer. Ms. Wright-Springer also serves on the National Advisory Board of the Center for Leadership.
