Cynthia (“Chintz”) C. Bell-Bucha is a multi-faceted professional who has spent her career as a writer, editor, educator, and content producer for a variety of multi-media sources.  Her diverse background includes overseeing and directing editorial projects for national publications, teaching at the college level, chairing executive forums on international issues and managing a wide variety of projects from concept to completion. Bell-Bucha has excellent communication and organizational skills which are demonstrated in her writing and detailed client presentations. She is a creative and pragmatic thinker accustomed to working effectively with broad constituencies as well as being adept at managing complex and dynamic situations while respecting deadlines and budgets.

In the last decade Bell-Bucha’s professional experience includes working for WeSalute (formerly known as Veterans Advantage, PBC), a technology, marketing and media company that creates benefits and discounts for its members who serve in the U.S. Armed Forces and their families; as a writer for TownVibe, the publisher of six lifestyle magazines that served multiple counties where she wrote numerous articles of regional interest; and, as an adjunct  professor who instructed required courses in Western and Non-Western Civilization to over 100 students each semester. Most recently Bell-Bucha worked for the New York City based artist, Steve Alpert helping to refine his branding, marketing, and communications messaging.

Previously, Bell-Bucha served in a variety of editorial roles for Petersen and K-III Publishing specializing in the youth market covering all aspects of magazine production.  Positions spanned executive, fashion, beauty and lifestyle editor. Responsibilities included: content production, public relations, psychographic analysis, client presentations, project pitches and consumer behavior. The role of Executive Editor was to oversee the editorial responsibilities of the New York office and to serve as the Youth Group’s expert and spokesperson at industry-related events and for all media outlets including print, television, and radio.  She worked closely with the Director of Research conducting focus groups for internal purposes as well as advertising clients, in addition to collaborative projects with network news programs. Bell-Bucha was also responsible for all special editorial events and to serve as liaison with the public relations company and Enterprises Division developing new branding opportunities.

Presently, Bell-Bucha sits on several Boards, both public and private, that focus on the arts, technology, and international affairs. They include the World Affairs Councils of America, the Orange County Arts Council Organizations Committee, and Gelstat. She is a graduate of American University’s School of International Relations with a double major in Broadcast Journalism and graduated summa cum laude from Iona College with a Master of Science where she received the departmental award in Global History. She lives between her two New York residences in Hudson Valley and Westchester County.
