Harry Zimmerman

With a partner, Zimmerman helped develop and build the real estate business, primarily by acquiring apartment buildings and triple-net properties around the country. In addition, Zimmerman together with his business partner developed and owned a separate property management company, which was created exclusively to manage and maintain their private portfolio of properties.

Zimmerman earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana, where he studied aviation and engineering. After college Zimmerman became a commercial airline pilot, ultimately becoming one of the youngest commercial airline captains in the country, as well as one of the youngest check airmen.

He also holds a law degree and had the privilege of clerking for the Honorable (Federal Circuit NTSB) Judge Davis.

Zimmerman is also an inventor and has over 30 domestic and international patents and was featured on the History Channel show, “America’s Best Inventors.” Many of his designs can be seen in successful infomercials and retail box outlets around the world. Zimmerman is a principal and/or board member of a wide variety of high-tech and traditional companies such as Zeekit, which was sold to Walmart in 2021. Zeekit, is a high-tech advanced fashion platform. He is also a partner and a founder of Mighty Ventures, which utilizes his patents to create innovative new product categories that are sold either directly to consumers or through traditional brick-and-mortar channels.

He has served on several charitable boards, including on the executive board of the Clinton Foundation (CHAI}. He was past chairman of the International March of the Living Western Division and served on the boards of the USC Price School (Leap), UCLA Neurology Advisory Board, the Simms Mann board at UCLA and a director of Sinai Temple in Westwood California.

Currently, Zimmerman serves as the founder of The Zim Group. He resides in Los Angeles with his two sons, whom he makes no secret of letting people know is really the true secret behind his success.
