The National Medal of Honor Center for Leadership is preparing for an important transition as Tom Mundell, our president and CEO for the past three years, will step down from his role on June 30, 2025, to pursue new opportunities.
As we look ahead, we are actively seeking a new president and CEO to guide us through the next chapter of growth. This is a unique opportunity for a visionary leader to build on our mission of fostering leadership inspired by the values of Medal of Honor recipients.
The National Medal of Honor Center for Leadership is a dynamic organization dedicated to inspiring leadership and character development through the values of the Medal of Honor. Our mission is to empower individuals and organizations to meet their moment with courage, integrity, commitment, sacrifice, citizenship and patriotism. We offer a range of educational programming and resources, including workshops, seminars, online learning materials and more — designed to help individuals develop the skills and qualities necessary for effective leadership to build a values-based organizational culture.

Who Are We Looking For?
The president and CEO will develop and recommend plans, policies and strategies for the organization in accordance with the policies of the board of directors. This individual will possess strong leadership skills and be responsible for the overall operation of the organization, including the strategic plan, budget and finance, the education platform, development team, human resources, marketing and must have a proven track record of driving a metrics-based approach to fundraising. The president and CEO will be the primary individual responsible for fundraising.
